In this vital role, you will be responsible for meticulously removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from aerospace components to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. Your expertise in precision machining, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical fabrication will help maintain the integrity of our aerospace parts, supporting the production of high-quality aircraft and spacecraft. Duties Use hand tools, grinders, and deburring equipment to smooth out rough edges on aerospace components according to technical specifications Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to identify critical areas requiring deburring or finishing Operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools to prepare parts for finishing processes Conduct dimensional measurements using precision instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify component accuracy and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) compliance Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to proper handling procedures for industrial equipment and materials Assist with materials handling, packaging finished parts, and maintaining a clean work area to promote efficient workflow Troubleshoot minor issues with machinery or tooling to minimize downtime and ensure consistent quality output Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or factory environments with a focus on machining or fabrication processes Strong mechanical knowledge including blueprint reading, shop math, and interpretation of technical drawings Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, and operating CNC milling machines or CNC lathes Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for dimensional inspection Knowledge of safety standards in production settings and proper use of hand tools and industrial equipment Experience with materials handling, tooling setup, and packaging in a manufacturing context Basic math skills essential for quality control measurements and process adjustments Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed work instructions Warehouse experience or assembly line familiarity is a plus but not required Follow company quality standards, ISO standards, and AS standards as required. Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in manufacturing operations Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment to eliminate potential hazards Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and training Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on plant and /or assigned equipment and refers hazardous conditions, defects or needed repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment Assists in cutting, moving, assemble, tacking, grinding, and operating equipment as required Willingness to operate any equipment as needed after training Maintains equipment through greasing, fueling and minor repairs General housekeeping duties as necessary Complete all required paperwork and record keeping. Assist as needed in the training of new operators. Read and interpret work specification sheets and drawings. Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Follows company rules and procedures. Complete work on schedule. Clean metal components and polish to meet drawing requirements. Fine attention to detail All Other Duties As Assigned•

Work Environment:

(•) The work environment for this job is a manufacturing shop floor, which is heated and air conditioned. The noise level is usually high due to industrial machines. This position requires frequent walking, frequent standing, frequent lifting, lifting heavy objects, as well as sitting at a desk.

Physical Demands:

(•) The position requires that the employee is regularly required to stand, move, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use entire body as wells as fingers and hands. The employee is regularly required to life, stand; walk; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Specific physical abilities include abilities to move items in all directions with body, hands, and fingers. •
