Full Job Description Job Summary :

Covid Audio Visual is a leading U.S. manufacturer of professional audio-visual connectivity products, including wall plates, rack panels, and custom metal components. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to various metal components, ensuring durable and visually appealing finishes. Your work will contribute to the production of top-tier products by utilizing your technical skills, precision, and knowledge of industrial painting processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic manufacturing environment where quality and efficiency are paramount.

Responsibilities:

Prepare metal parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, hanging, and inspection Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment Operate and monitor curing ovens to ensure proper finish quality Inspect finished parts for coverage, thickness, color consistency, and defects Perform rework or touch-ups as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe powder coating area Follow documented work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures Collaborate with Metal Shop, Production, and Quality teams to meet schedules and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

Prior powder coating experience preferred (manufacturing or metal shop environment) Familiarity with metal preparation and finishing processes Knowledge of powder coating processes,. Experience with industrial ovens, spray equipment, or finishing systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and machining tools effectively. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
