Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hydraulic Hose and Fitting Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and inspecting hydraulic hoses and fittings to ensure they meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient production of hydraulic components used across various industries. This position offers an engaging environment where precision, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on skills are essential for success. Duties Assemble hydraulic hoses and fittings using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment according to schematics and blueprints Measure and cut hoses accurately with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manufacturing instructions to ensure correct assembly Perform quality inspections on hoses and fittings, verifying dimensions with calipers and micrometers for precision Use welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication techniques to modify or repair components as needed Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to handle materials safely within the production area Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards while managing inventory of parts and tools Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or assembly environments Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and machining tools Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges Familiarity with fabrication processes including welding, soldering, and machining techniques Warehouse experience including forklift operation preferred but not mandatory Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high-quality standards Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Join us if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical skills make a real impact!
