$25•$35 per hour Job Details•We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centerless Grinder to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining centerless grinding machines to meet our high-quality standards. This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and precision of our manufactured parts, and therefore requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of technical skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain centerless grinding machinery to produce high-quality parts. Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to check and ensure the accuracy of work performed. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements of the product. Apply knowledge of tool and die, machining, and GD&T to the grinding process. Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure their longevity and optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience as a Centerless Grinder or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. In-depth knowledge of tool and die, machining, and GD&T. Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve machine-related issues promptly. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication and teamwork skills. A strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the manufacturing industry. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. High school diploma or equivalent. A vocational certificate or degree in a related field is an advantage.
