Most of the products that we build here are flying to Space and to Mars. You should expect a family environment and a true teamwork mentality at Alva. The organization is expanding to multiple locations within Orange County and we are looking for a strong Tool Crib Attendant that would like to grow their career with us. Tool Crib Attendant Managing cutting tools and material stock inventory for CNC Machine Shop. Prepare and gather the proper tools kit including cutting tools, holders, tooling fixtures, setup sheets, and materials to allow for the efficient workflow of raw materials and machined parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Being able to identify and pull the proper inventory, materials and tools Managing, stocking and setting up of tools for CNC machinists Preparing tool holders and cutting tools per setup sheet instructions to kit for new jobs Ordering new tools to replenish stock Perform certain grinding operation as needed for relief areas, etc. Coordinate with vendors to perform special grinding, customization per setup sheet requirements. Help with receiving of raw materials and finished goods.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to lift items (must be healthy to carry a load up to 50lbs) and read provided documents. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to details Must be able to use forklift / training certificate is preferred Familiar with different CNC cutting tools and holders Knowledge of Shrink Fit machine and Tool Presetter is a PLUS Knowledge of tool inventory system such as TDM systems or Wintool is a plus Must be able to speak English Must be legal to work in the US Must have reliable transportation. Experience in CNC shop is a plus.

This position has potential to rise up to become a Tool Crib Manager within short period of time.
