Per Diem SUD Group Facilitator - PHP/IOP
Job Description
Assure Recovery Center is hiring two Per Diem SUD Group Facilitators for our in-person co-occurring PHP/IOP program in San Diego. Regular Openings Opening 1: Tuesday, 3:00 p.m
- 7:00 p.m. Opening 2: Thursday, 3:00 p.m
- 7:00 p.m. Each facilitator is assigned one recurring four-hour shift per week. Additional planned or call-out coverage may be offered but is not guaranteed. Responsibilities
- Facilitate structured co-occurring PHP/IOP groups using the program curriculum and evidence-based SUD interventions.
- Deliver psychoeducation, recovery skills, relapse-prevention content, motivational interviewing, and other services within the counselor's scope.
- Complete group documentation and attendance records accurately and promptly in Kipu.
- Communicate safety concerns, changes in presentation, and clinically significant information to the treatment team.
- Participate in paid orientation and required training.
- Provide relief coverage when mutually available. Qualifications
- Current California SUD counselor certification or registration in good standing through an approved certifying organization is required; certification is preferred.
- CADC, CATC, SUDCC, or comparable approved credential is strongly preferred.
- Registered counselors must remain compliant with certification timelines and supervision requirements.
- Experience with substance use, mental health, co-occurring disorders, PHP, IOP, or group facilitation is preferred.
- Ability to reliably work the selected recurring shift.
- Strong group-management, communication, and documentation skills.
