! Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of precision machining and fabrication processes, with the ability to create and repair tools, dies, and fixtures used in manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in tool and die production. Utilize hand tools and machinery such as lathes, CNC machines, and welding equipment to fabricate components. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to fabricate tools and dies according to specifications. Operate milling machines and lathes for the production of high-quality components. Perform welding tasks as necessary for tool assembly and repair. Engage in CAM programming to optimize machining processes and enhance productivity. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new tooling solutions for manufacturing challenges. Apply math skills for precise calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and material properties. Requirements Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating milling machines, lathes and other related equipment. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings. Experience with CAM programming is highly desirable. Solid math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
