Specialist for a moldmaking company in Bloomfield, CT.

Pay Rate:

$32-$37/hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | Full-Time Job Description We are seeking an experienced Wire EDM Programmer / Operator to set up, program, and operate wire EDM machines in a precision machining environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and capable of holding extremely tight tolerances. Responsibilities Set up and operate wire EDM machines Program jobs from 2D drawings and 3D solid models Hold tolerances up to ±0.0002" and inspect own work accurately Apply strong working knowledge of wire EDM processes Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency on all assigned jobs Qualifications Proven experience with wire EDM setup and operation Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models Strong inspection and measurement skills Experience with AgieCharmilles machines is a plus Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Preferred Experience Toolroom or precision machining background High-mix, low-volume manufacturing experience
