Orthotic Technician
Job Description
Prosthetic Technician (1 full-time positions available) Fast growing and employee friendly company, with an exciting opportunity for a Technician in our Wilmington office. We are seeking a candidate who wants to work in a friendly and safe environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fabricates, including but not limited to, lay-ups and lamination, molding, shaping/forming, assembly, and static bench alignment. Quality checks on materials, required procedures and completed work by ensuring accuracy of fit, operation, durability and cosmetic appearance of prosthetics and orthoses fabricated or repaired. Completes assigned work for device delivery per company standards Determines the prosthetic needs of the patient by interpreting data and measurements provided by the clinician. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops Create effective relationships with staff and customers Helps assure internal and external customer responsiveness Always adheres to Employee Handbook, Infection Control Policies and Procedures, applicable protocols and standards including ABC, BOC, and JCAHO Participates in projects as needed Completes other duties as assigned Qualification Requirements Initiates efforts in quality improvement Moves from task to task readily Recognizes issues and requirements of problems High School Diploma We offer a competitive compensation package and a great work environment.
