Job Description:

Milling:

Manufacture and machining of parts according to drawings, creating CAM programs for machining, and independent quality control of the milled components.

Cylindrical Grinding:

Manufacture and machining of parts according to drawings, and independent quality control of the created components

Eroding:

Manufacture and machining of parts according to drawings, creating programs for editing, independent quality control of the created components, and management of the electrode store

All:

Independent operation of machines, carrying out/cooperating with maintenance work on machines according to specifications, entry of dimensional changes in drawings, and independently ensuring the necessary quality and quantity.

Qualifications:

5 years' experience in the Injection mold, Blow molding, or compression molding assembly and disassembly of mold tools and repair of mold tools. Hot runners experience a must.

Tools needed for the position:

Calipers, Micrometer, depth mic, Indicator, drive pin punches, 6" and 12" scale, layout scribes. Must be able to measure and work in Metric and SAE. Must be able to identify the different parts of a blueprint and able to understand where to obtain needed data. Comfortable working in a LEAN manufacturing environment. Overtime is required Must have METAL working experience with Knee mills Surface grinders Engine lathe Polishing molds to a SPI finish #1 Must have experience in a mold or die shop environment . Including and not limited to taping holes, repair of damage holes, welding and repair of parting lines.
