Job Details The Die Cutting Operator supports the Die Cutting Manager in providing support, direction, and training to achieve KPI improvements through driving operational performance. Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with our policies and procedures Make-ready, adjust, and run jobs as efficiently as possible to meet safety and producivity standards Examine job order to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications, and special die cutting instructions Examine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair minor defects Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality Ensure information is communicated between shifts Perform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of Die Cutter Maintenance duties include stooping under machinery, entering confined spaces and climbing ladders Accurately record production metrics through SAP Performs all other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude/skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to understand technical written and verbal instructions Strong computer and math skills required Ability to accurately distinguish color variation Must be able to work other shifts and overtime as necessaryRequired Experience:
Prior folding carton experience preferredPhysical Demands:
Occasional bending, reaching, twisting and stooping Ability to read computer screens and other electronic devices Occasional squatting and kneeling for cleaning and clearing jams Pushing/pulling/lifting to 50 lbs. Ability to distinguish colorPAY RANGE
