The Role:
As the Former, you will prepare and set up fixtures for the forming & bending of elements or steel tubes with the use of blueprints.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare form fixtures Prepare bend fixtures/tooling Install, form, complete elements per mold Transfer completed formed elements to foundry/stock area Use of sandblaster Quality inspection with electrical equipment and devices May be assigned additional tasks as needed.
Our Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to use hand tools (i.e., pneumatic, wrenches, hammers, chisels) Ability to read calipers, scales, rulers and blueprints Understand thread sizes and diameters Read and interpret prints Basic computer aptitude with Excel Work fairly independently or under minimal supervision of the Team Lead Experience using overhead cranes a plus
Pay Range:
