This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to precision manufacturing operations, ensuring that anodizing racks meet strict quality and safety standards. Your expertise will help streamline production workflows and uphold our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Training will be provided. Responsibilities Design and build racks for customer jobs using company-provided tooling and hardware. Select the appropriate tooling and fixtures to ensure parts are securely racked for processing. Review production requirements to determine proper rack configurations. Modify existing racks as needed to accommodate new or revised customer specifications. Inspect racks prior to use to ensure they are safe, functional, and meet quality standards. Maintain an organized inventory of tooling, fixtures, hardware, and rack components. Monitor tooling inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on racks and tooling to extend their service life. Keep the rack-making area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards. Work closely with production personnel to prioritize rack-building based on production schedules. Communicate any production delays, tooling shortages, or equipment issues to the Production Manager and General Manager. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase rack efficiency, reduce setup time, and improve product quality. Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and work instructions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. Ability to use hand and power tools safely. Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production documentation. Strong organizational and inventory management skills. Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic math and measurement skills. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Dependable, punctual, and able to meet production deadlines.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
