Job Description
Tool Maker/Mold Maker - First Shift $36-$40/hr | Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Why join? Join a U.S.-based manufacturer offering $36-$40/hr for a Tool Maker/Mold Maker to build and repair injection molds alongside experienced journeymen. Key responsibilities & requirements Build parts and assemblies from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions using tool room equipment (saws, drill presses, vertical mills, lathes, surface grinders) Construct die sections and prototype molds; collaborate with designers and planning engineers to execute design intent 5+ years of mold making experience preferred; machine shop experience and blueprint reading required Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and good vision acuity Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Benefits Competitive pay ($36-$40/hr) Consistent first-shift schedule (6:00 AM-2:30 PM, Mon-Fri) Hands-on training alongside experienced journeymen Stable, established manufacturing environment Opportunity to build real technical craft skills
