Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a detailed oriented Quality Administrator to join our team. The Quality Administrator under the direction of the Quality Department Head, will help plan and direct activities concerned with the development, application and maintenance of quality and regulatory programs for materials, products and processes. This will include a primary responsibility for assisting with quality systems and regulatory requirements documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for driving operational excellence.
Essential Functions and Related Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Quality System Procedures and Forms.
  • Assist in writing new Quality System Procedures.
  • Obtain and maintain Approved Supplier List and supporting documentation, including COAs from Suppliers.
  • Maintain Consumer Complaint Documentation. Log & respond to consumer complaints.
  • Maintain Training Matrix. Assist with training as appropriate.
  • Obtain and Maintain National Organic Program (NOP) Documentation.
  • Obtain and Maintain Export Programs Documentation.
  • Support External Audits from Certifying Agencies and Customers as required.
  • Maintain State Product Registrations.
  • Support Safety Program by participation in and coordination of Safety Team. Obtain and Maintain SDS documentation.
  • Assist in preparation, execution, and follow up for safety, sanitation, and internal audits.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvements in support of quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives.
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; maintaining clean/sanitary areas; complying with legal regulations.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in internal and external educational opportunities.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English; good verbal and written communication skills.
  • General math and computer proficiency.
  • Ability to maintain close attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to professionally interact with co-workers, management, and outside-visitors.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
