Tool and Die Maker
Job Description
With Staff Management | SMX, you'll get a weekly paycheck, learn new skills, meet new people, and work with a great management team in a clean and safe environment. We are seeking a Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot tooling, dies, and fixtures used in production. This role works closely with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing operations, improve tooling performance, and ensure quality standards.
Able to Lift 30 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
Pay Rate:
$29- $37/hour

Duties:
Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, and fixtures Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Operate manual and CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform preventive maintenance Use precision measuring instruments to verify quality and accuracy Follow all safety and quality procedures .Position Requirements:
Tool & Die, machining, or related manufacturing experience Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Experience with manual and CNC machines Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with precision measuring tools CNC programming and print creation experience Welding experience Automotive manufacturing background Technical training, apprenticeship, or vocational educationRequirements:
Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 30 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
