Our client is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot tooling, machinery, and production equipment. Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair roll-form tooling, cut-off dies, pre-pierce dies, stamping dies, and other tooling; machine die components from raw materials and correct tooling issues.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain traditional machine shop equipment, including surface grinders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, and related production machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment using blueprints, electrical schematics, repair manuals, hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment installations, lubrication, inspections, inventory control, and maintenance reporting while coordinating repairs and projects with production and engineering teams. Job Requirements Required Skills & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years of related experience in tool & die, machine maintenance, or a similar industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Journeyman Tool & Die Certification.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and use machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain machinery and production equipment. Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Documented maintenance training and/or welding certification.
  • Experience with electrical wiring, conduit, piping, pneumatics, production machinery, and equipment installation is preferred.
