Lean Manufacturing experience. 5S experience. Job Responsibilities Build, modify, and repair fixtures, jigs, workstations, tooling, and assembly equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and tooling issues affecting production equipment. Read and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, band saws, press brakes, and other tool room equipment. Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, depth gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. Assist with installation and setup of new or revised manufacturing equipment and processes. Perform tooling changeovers, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate heat treating and outside tooling services with applicable vendors. Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain tool room work areas using 5S principles. Document tooling activities and maintenance work. Maintain inventory of tool room supplies and tooling materials. Support production, engineering, and maintenance activities related to manufacturing equipment and tooling. Identify tooling or equipment improvements that reduce production downtime. Follow applicable manufacturing safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.

Pay:
