In this role, you will perform high-precision fabrication, modification, and troubleshooting of complex tooling, fixtures, and gauges to support cutting-edge medical device production. Fabricate & Modify:
Produce, reproduce, or modify precise tooling, fixtures, gauges, and specialized parts based on sketches, prints, models, or verbal instructions.
Equipment Operation:
Utilize sophisticated metal and plastic working equipment, including conventional cutting, grinding, and CNC machinery.
Process Optimization:
Layout production work in the most cost-effective and efficient manner from available technical information.
Team Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally within a highly technical, team-based manufacturing environment.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain strict attention to detail to ensure all fabricated components meet stringent quality and medical manufacturing standards.
Working hours:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Advanced Machining:
working knowledge of CNC equipment setup, operation, and conventional metal/plastic working machinery.
Material Expertise:
Familiarity with diverse materials including stainless steel, titanium, advanced alloys (Zimaloy), plastics (UHMPWE), ceramics, tool steels, and castings.
Technical Precision:
Exceptional blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning, and mathematical layout skills.
Education:

4-7 years
Qualifications:
Experience Path:
Must meet one of the following background criteria: Completion of an approved 4-year Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program. Associate degree in Tool & Die plus 3 years of relevant toolmaking experience. 6+ years of direct, hands-on industrial toolmaking experience. Completion of a certified corporate Tool & Die trainee program.
Shift Availability:
Absolute availability to work either 2nd Shift (3:00 PM ? 11:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (11:00 PM ? 7:00 AM).
