Job Description
Position Summary The EP Tooling Specialist is responsible for the design, fabrication, maintenance, and continuous improvement of tooling used in ElectroPolishing (EP) processes. This role ensures tooling is optimized for performance, reliability, and quality, while also identifying opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements. The specialist works closely with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals and maintain high standards of quality. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Technical diploma or associate degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Hands-on experience with tooling design, fabrication, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with machining or fabrication tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate technical information clearly.
- Communicates in a clear, professional manner and exercises proper etiquette toward supervisors and fellow employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
