• JOB SUMMARY

• To provide the next operation with a quality product by sanding to tolerance.

• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• + Working from work orders, specifications, procedures, and detailed instructions to sand basic parts.

+ Operates pneumatic and hand sanding tools to prepare basic furniture parts at the raw stage, or prior to build-coat /topcoat processes. + Maintains close mental and visual attention to meet tolerance of finish per process. + Responsible for own work. + Performs other related duties as required.

• Qualifications

• EDUCATION

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification, and Textron Aviation's blueprint reading class preferred.

• EXPERIENCE

• 6 months of sanding experience.

• WORKING CONDITIONS

• + Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required. +
