PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up of dies and devices. Perform safety procedures - connecting and adjusting die protections. Assist in the repair of dies along with the toolmaker. Make adjustment as needed for quality. Perform quality inspection of parts. Assist in the determination of root cause of quality issues. Maintain production records. Empty all wastebaskets, scrape bins and containers. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform other duties as assigned by VP Operations. Train future employees.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing and math skills required. Know how to change dies. The ability to work well in a team environment. The ability to provide detailed production records. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, etc.
