Job Description

RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a 1st shift Tool Maker Role in our Morehead, KY location! Your Job The Tool Maker's role is to support the Molding Department by performing tool repairs and maintenance, as well as fabricating new components for tools and machines. This position focuses on maintaining a customer-oriented approach and delivering value through quality craftsmanship and reliability. What you Will do in Your Role Ensure full compliance with all safety requirements, including Safety Awareness, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), crane operations, and 6S standards. Operate machine tools to fabricate and repair components as needed. Perform various welding applications for injection mold repairs. Disassembly injection molds to replace high-wear components when necessary. Safely rig injection molds for transport using cranes, forklifts, and die carts. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, from basic to advanced. Adhere to all environmental policies, procedures, work instructions, and applicable requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Immediately report any environmental concerns or incidents that pose a hazard to people, productions, or the environment to management. Starts up and shuts down robots and cranes in accordance with established guidelines. Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Possess working knowledge of data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Maintenance Connection. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) High school diploma or GED. Manufacturing and maintenance experience (preferred). Experience with computers and Microsoft Office (preferred).
