Cadillac Casting, Inc, a leading manufacturer for the automotive industry, is seeking an excellent, hardworking, dedicated, and reliable individual to join our team. Pattern Shop Technician Responsibilities include : Milling Machine Fundamentals, Cutting Tools, and Practice and Operation. Knowledge of machining tool steel, which includes benching and polishing. Perform Tooling Set-ups & Repairs using blueprints/diagrams. Repair and maintain dies, fixtures, gauges and patterns using basic metal shop tools, lathes, mills etc. Welding and basic fabrication. Mechanical experience with basic metal shop tools, lathes, mills, hand tools etc. Responsible for maintaining tool inventory. Pattern Shop Technician Minimum requirements Prior experience operating lathes, and mills High school diploma or equivalent education and additional related technical training Must be able to work second or third shift hours including weekends and holidays. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Pattern Shop Technician Additional Requirements Bridgeport Milling/drilling experience Horizontal Boring Machine experience Manual Lathe experience. Benefits Shift premium paid for working 2nd and 3rd shift. Excellent Benefit Package is available after 30 days of employment.
