Well-established metal stamping company in Dundee is seeking a day shift Die Setup Technician to join their team!

Duties will include:

Complete die set-ups on a variety of stamping presses, troubleshooting, and assistance with new die installs. Set up and adjust servo, pneumatic, Rapid-Air, and PA feeder systems Adjust feed length, speed, acceleration, deceleration, pilot release, spring tension, and progression settings Perform factory resets and feeder parameter adjustments Diagnose and correct feeder performance issues, including backlash and spring pressure concerns Submit quality first-piece samples for inspection Work with Quality and Tooling to resolve defects and improve processes Create and maintain documentation for process improvements and setup documentation Other duties as necessary Qualified candidates will have 2-3+ years of die setting or progressive stamping experience, a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments. Experience with servo feeders, automated feeding systems, die protection systems and tonnage monitoring preferred. Welding, drilling, tapping, and basic machining experience also strongly preferred.
