Toolroom Technician/Toolmaker - Openings on 1st and 2nd
Shift Tool Room Technician Pay:
$27.00-$35.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking Tool Room Technicians to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and support production dies and tooling. This position helps ensure tools are production-ready while responding quickly to breakdowns and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production dies. Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production schedules. Inspect repaired tooling for proper dimensions, clearances, and alignment. Build, modify, fit, and assemble tooling components. Operate tool room equipment, hand tools, and punch presses. Document completed work and communicate tooling or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications 3+ years of tooling or die-maintenance experience. Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.. Metal-stamping or welding-environment experience is preferred. Proficient use of manual mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses. Completion of Apprenticeship, Journeyman Card, or other certifications are a plus.
