About the Role As a Tooling Technician specializing in metal stamping, you will play a critical role in maintaining production uptime by troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing complex transfer and line dies. Your expertise in precision machining and die maintenance will directly impact our ability to meet rigorous quality standards and production goals. Responsibilities Perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and optimization of transfer and line dies to ensure peak operational performance. Operate precision tool room machinery to fabricate or modify die components with high accuracy. Collaborate with the production team to streamline press setups and improve overall equipment efficiency. Utilize root cause analysis and systematic problem-solving to resolve tooling deficiencies and minimize downtime. Ensure all tooling outputs strictly adhere to print specifications and quality requirements through precise gaging and CMM data interpretation. Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen, to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Support environmental compliance by serving as a trained wastewater handler as required. Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal stamping, die repair, or tool and die building. Advanced proficiency in interpreting blueprints and GD&T for dies and part prints. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and operational issues. Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 80 pounds and repetitive motion. High school diploma or GED. Preferred Skills Technical trade education or relevant college coursework in manufacturing. Working knowledge of

14001, and Q1 compliance standards. Experience utilizing computer-based control panels and productivity software.
