Job Description

About the Role As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for the precision setup and optimization of advanced milling equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring production excellence by translating complex engineering requirements into high-quality finished components through expert tool management and process oversight. Responsibilities Configure and calibrate HMC and VMC systems by installing fixtures, tooling, and programs to achieve high-precision output. Interpret complex engineering blueprints and G-code to ensure absolute adherence to geometric specifications. Drive quality assurance by performing rigorous inspections with precision metrology tools and interpreting CMM data to refine machining processes. Optimize production throughput by troubleshooting mechanical, robotic, and process-related bottlenecks in real-time. Maintain operational integrity by documenting all setup parameters, tool offsets, and adjustments throughout the production lifecycle. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and mentoring operators on best-in-class machining techniques. Uphold a safe and organized shop floor environment by strictly adhering to 5S methodologies and safety compliance standards. Ensure all manufacturing activities align with
IATF 16949
quality management requirements to support a zero-defect environment. Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience setting up 3, 4, and 5-axis
HMC/VMC CNC
equipment. Deep proficiency in G-code programming, machine offsets, and cutting tool technology. Expertise in utilizing precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and variable gauges. Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Skills Direct experience with Makino, FANUC, or Mori Seiki control systems. Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software for process optimization. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Demonstrated experience in supporting root-cause analysis for non-conformance investigations.
