This position will start on day shift for 6 months of training (5am-5pm) and then move to night shift (5pm-5am)

Responsibilities:

Plan, layout, construct, alter and repair a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, machine parts and gages for machine operators and equipment. Responsible for skilled fitting, timing and adjusting tools and instruments to produce a functional part. Check and gage work using tool and die makers' hand tools and other precision measuring instruments. Perform related hand and bench operations such as inspection, layout, fitting, polishing, lapping and scraping. Check condition of machines and other equipment and make any repairs if necessary. Work with machine operator on problem solving. Work with engineering and/or maintenance to resolve specific machine, tooling, setup problems that may arise. Must comply with all applicable Quality System procedures and OSHA regulations.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Previous experience in similar role, or willingness to learn. Ability to stand for long hours. Problem-solving and organizational skills. High School diploma or similar required. Must be able to pass physical, background check and drug screen.
