Essential Duties & Responsibilities Primary Assist management in all Safety and Quality requirements Assist management in assuring that the control plans are being followed Complete all fault recovery tasks Inspect and replace process equipment components such as electrodes, tips, liners as required Perform visual inspection of machinery and equipment Understand the machine cycle. Notify management if there is a deviation from controlled time Secondary Inspect and replace tooling components such as sensors, clamps, tooling details as directed Perform preventative maintenance activities as directed. Other Duties Quality Understands weld terminology and all customers' weld specifications Understands quality requirements listed in the control plans Production Understands production requirements, operation potential, and desired goals Understands how to calculate cycle time; able to differentiate between machine time and operator time Robot Programming Ability to touch up points properly Ability to complete fault recovery Welding Process/Parameters Ability to compare actual parameters to those listed on the set-up sheets Robot Hardware Maintenance of contact tips, diffuser and nozzles. Ability to start a new spool of wire Ability to perform Tool Center Point (TCP) adjustment Ability to perform the J Bar procedure Tooling Understand basic tool functionality, locating and clamping concepts and maintenance of components as directed (i.e. pins, clamps) Electronics Understands the user interface. Ability to recognize its sensors are functional Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • 18 years of age or older with the ability to work extended hours
  • Must be able to prove United States work eligibility
  • Demonstrates the skills required or aptitude and motivation to master the required skills, essential duties, and responsibilities with reasonable supervision and training
  • Minimum of 2 years of equipment maintenance and/or similar experience required
  • Demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. If required by job, must demonstrate the ability to write simple correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the company
  • Reliable Transportation
