Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to integrate into our Team with a focus on powder compaction tooling construction, repair, and maintenance. The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable with various tool steels, experienced in Tool and Die specific equipment (EDM, lathe, mill, etc.), have a strong ability to interpret tooling prints and clearances, and be capable of managing priorities due to needs on a daily basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

Build, repair, and maintain precision tooling used in powder compaction manufacturing. Operate equipment including Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, manual lathes, mills, and surface grinders. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and tooling specifications. Measure and inspect tooling using micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, and other precision equipment. Troubleshoot tooling issues, manage daily priorities, and make adjustments to meet tight tolerances and clearances. What makes you a great fit: 2+ year degree in Tool and Die, Mold making, Machining, or similar field. (Or equivalent experience.) 3+ years' experience in Tool and Die, Mold making, Machining, or similar field History of precision machining or Tool and Die / Mold making experience required Capability of working with tolerances in tenths (.0002" common) Ability to lift and move heavier materials (50 lbs.) Able to work standing for up to 70% of time with performance of physical activities such as lifting and handling of materials Esprit, Gibbs CAM, and AutoCAD experience a plus Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings / prints / blueprints Experience with various tool steels (A2, S7, M2, O2, CPM-3V, CPM-10V, etc.) Why work with our client?
