Job Description

Positions Title:
Sheet Metal Tech Job Duties/Responsibilities Perform deburring processes including blending, polishing and the creation of edge breaks. Inspect manufactured components for quality conformance to specifications using bench gauging. Ensure standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling. The candidate must be capable of using machines for working structural parts, e.g., sheers, drill press, bending, etc. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Perform work within estimated hours. Follow all safety procedures and specifications. Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties. Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner. Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments with little or no rework. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Other duties as assigned. Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm CST. Weekends/overtime when required. Experience and/or Educational Requirements High School or equivalent (preferred). Must be able to read and write English Knowledge in working with Microsoft Office and Databases. Prior experience in a production setting is preferred, but not necessary.
