Full Job Description Job Summary:

Responsible for any combination of operational technical duties which require a high degree of accuracy in one or more of the following functions: seat prototyping, production and testing; operating and maintaining machinery, tooling, and setting up equipment. Operate within key performance indicators and metrics to help foster a performance driven culture.

Essential Job Duties:

Assist in the design and fabrication of fixtures as required. May fabricate parts necessary for build-up of test articles and prototyping. Minimize downtime, overtime, and establish ownership and responsibility for work content and accountability for performance. Carry out preventive maintenance of all machinery and equipment. Review all regulatory requirements applicable to each operation and perform duties within the regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to all ZACS standards of quality and FAA regulations. Follow proper paperwork and documentation procedures. Comply with safety and company policies and use protective equipment as required. Build-up of complex assemblies for the purpose of prototyping, testing and/or customer viewings Work with Engineering to solve design discrepancies in early stages of development builds Work in a flexible environment/work on multiple projects

Secondary Duties:

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum:

High school diploma or equivalent Familiarity with a diverse range of materials (i.e., aluminum alloys, stainless steel alloys, engineering polymers, composites, etc.) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data Strong analytical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Basic computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Windows Read, write, speak and understand the English language Diverse tooling background

Preferred:

Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level of experience Experience working aircraft interior products environment SolidWorks Experience Simple assembly prototyping experience

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Subject to continual loud noises. Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps, ladders and/or service stands. Must be able to wear and breathe through a full-face respirator.
