Job Description
Our facility in Lumberton, NC is looking for a meticulous and talented Tool Die Maker to become a key member of our production department. You will be responsible for the creation, upkeep, and fabrication of the precision components and dies essential to our manufacturing operations, making your dedication to high-quality craftsmanship a vital asset to our success. Core Duties Construct and build fixtures, dies, and tools that align with precise technical requirements. Utilize and configure a variety of machinery, such as grinders, mills, and lathes. Verify that finished dies and tools perform correctly by conducting thorough inspections and testing to uphold our quality benchmarks. Work alongside production teams and engineering staff to identify and fix technical challenges. Extend the operational life of our equipment by performing necessary repairs and routine maintenance on existing dies and tools. Document all completed tasks and material consumption with precision. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all established safety procedures. Required Background Completion of high school or a GED, with a technical certification in tool and die manufacturing viewed favorably. Demonstrated history of success in a Tool Die Maker position or a comparable technical role. Deep understanding of various tooling materials and complex machining techniques. Ability to accurately interpret and utilize technical drawings and blueprints. Experience working with design software and CAD programs. Strong analytical skills that help drive effective problem-solving and ensure high attention to detail. Capacity to contribute effectively both as an individual contributor and as a collaborative team member. Strong interpersonal skills paired with a proactive and professional mindset.
