Job Description

Job Summary:
Prepares surfaces for glue; mixes and matches product, and applies undercoats and finish coats using spray gun to a variety of wooden pieces as part of the overall production process, ensuring that quality standards are achieved through the effective use of provided equipment, materials, supplies, and labor.
Essential Functions:
Sets up spray equipment (spray pumps, spray guns, and spray booth) according to approved spraying techniques. Inspects completed work for proper operation, adherence to work orders, standard work, and safety. Cleans spraying equipment and tools with approved solvents. Enters, transcribes, store or maintain information in writing as a mean of horizontal and vertical communication. Performs 5S activities according to corresponding level. Ensures the safe and proper operation of tools and equipment. Fill out daily log for usage of chemical materials. Conduct an assertive communication between the different areas involved in the production process. Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
1-3 years of experience in production at same or similar position Knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques common to the spraying process. Ability to print and speak simple words in English. Basic math skills MUST passed respiratory protection program
Physical Requirements:
Constant standing (8-9 hours daily), bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting a minimum of 25 pounds.
