Shift Summary :
The Die Cut Maker/Gerber Operator is responsible for producing top quality boards, strippers, and waste separators while providing assistance to the lead die maker in all the daily duties of the die shop. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Prepare electronic die files for Gerber. Operate Gerber and Vacuum Press to produce die boards, strippers, and waste separators. Prepare die and strippers before sending to die maker. Inventory supplies and notify Team Leader when supplies are needed. Rule and rubber dies. Assemble strippers. Pull and inspect die strikes to send to design. Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Overtime is required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient Microsoft Office computer skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel. Other Qualifications The Quality Auditor position requires previous knowledge of quality systems or permanent displays experience. Must be proficient in math and computer skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with Project Coordinators, Engineers, Model Shop, and Customers as needed. Requires the ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products.
