Tooling Technician
Job Description
Quanex is looking for a Tooling Technician - to join our team located onsite in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Put your technical expertise to work where precision matters. As a key member of our team, you'll prepare and maintain the tooling needed to manufacture high-quality products that meet our customers' exact requirements. Your work will directly support production efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Salary:
$21.00 to $27.00 per hour, starting wage varies based on your experienceWork Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., overtime as business requires. We Offer You! Leads and promotes a culture of safety first. Must be qualified to coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements within their department. Maintains regular 5S principles. Understands quality expectations and works with all team members to ensure quality procedures are being followed and standard work is being followed. Prepares and assembles all tooling for upcoming production runs prior to the time when they are needed, including back-up tooling when necessary. Maintains a working knowledge of machine operations in order to determine how a customer product should be made. Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.Your Credentials:
