Job Description
Tool & Die Maker A well-established company is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to join the team at their Laconia, NH facility. If you have experience with high-precision machining, then consider this full-time, first-shift role. Responsibilities of the Tool & Die Maker Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes Manufacture molds, dies, and frames Fabricate, debug, and repair stamping dies, machines, jigs, and fixtures Ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications Implement manufacturing design changes, specifications, and drawing releases Work closely with various departments to coordinate projects/tasks Help improve the efficiency, quality, safety, and/or profitability of new and existing equipment and/or processes Perform related duties as assigned Qualifications of the Tool & Die Maker High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred; rubber processing and die experience may be used in lieu of college degree Proficiency and demonstrable skill in all types of high-precision machining used for the fabrication and repair of stamping dies, molds, and other tools and equipment, including CNC machine tools Experience with MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, Solid Modeling Software preferred Knowledge and ability to interpret drawings and use measuring equipment Purchase requisition experience preferred Willingness to learn new machinery Self-motivated team player who can work well independently Strong communication skills in English Good math skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The Tool & Die Maker works Monday through Friday from 6:00am-2:00pm or 7:00am-3:00pm. We look forward to hearing from you!
