Job Description Full Time, M-F Days Comprehensive Benefits Package, Paid time Off Pay Range $30-$32 based on experience and skill set Union Position On Site (Not Remote) Diagnose machine errors, part defects, and tooling issues; resolve problems; and document technical activities. Set up and operate manual machinery (lathes, milling machines, surface grinders). Manufacture, alter, and repair assembly machine components, tooling, dies, fixtures, and jigs. Assemble, disassemble, file, grind, smooth, and polish parts for an exact fit Verify part dimensions and test finished tools to ensure they meet specifications. Layout, construct and repair a variety of machine parts and components, and various other machinery pertaining to mesh or related products. Make tools and dies from simple sketches or sample parts, envision the complete die. Maintain complete records of each die. Use available shop equipment, machine tools, all precision measuring instruments. Carry out a wide range of operations which require set-ups and operating methods to attain the dimensional tolerance prescribed. Inspect each die after each usage and replace die parts, as required. Make and/or assist in die set-up, be available for consultation by set-up personnel for advice when necessary.
