Job Overview:

Responsible for operating a digital die cutter (similar to ABG) to die cut and apply laminate or UV varnish to digitally printed labels.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive large printed rolls from the digital press and run them through the die cut machineInspect rolls upon receipt and verify them against the job order/ticketSet up the machine as per job specifications, including selection of dies, roll wind, lamination or UV, and any special instructionsFollow all quality verification and setup procedures, including completing and signing off on required quality checksMonitor jobs during runs to ensure proper registration and accurate die cuttingTroubleshoot the machine during and after runs to ensure optimal performanceMaintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety policies and proceduresHandle additional duties and assignments as required

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Cold Foil, Hot Stamping, and Embossing is a plus

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience with Flexo press (Required)Ability to lift heavy rolls
