Job Description
Description Position at Nuvance Health Med Practice PC Per Diem Certified Nurse Midwife, Vassar Brother Medical Center Poughkeepsie, NY Vassar Brothers Medical Center of Northwell Health, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife or Certified Midwife to join our team as the regional midwife director. We are building a team of 7 midwives providing full-scope midwifery care in the office and in the hospital alongside 2 full-time outpatient only midwives. If you are excited by the opportunity to help grow and shape a practice as the leader of the midwifery group, this is the job for you! We are a collaborative Midwife/OB-GYN team providing care to a diverse patient population that draws from multiple counties in the Hudson Valley. Conveniently located approximately 75 minutes north of New York City with direct access via the Metro-North train line, the Vassar region has a small town feel alongside the excitement of New York City.
Job Requirements:
- RN license and Master's degree required
- Graduate of an approved Certified Nurse Midwife program and current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- State of NY RN, Certified Nurse Midwife license, NY State Controlled Substance and Federal DEA Registration required
- 2+ years CNM experience required
