ISO 9001, AS9100

certified leader in custom engineered advanced tooling solutions in Cuyahoga Falls. In this position you will be working with state-of-the-art equipment combined with a talented workforce to perform the bench tasks required to build custom tools to spec and to ensure each tool is shipped on time and on cost.

7am

Second Shift:

3:00pm

  • 11:00pm (times can vary)
Pay:

$27.00

  • $35.

00/hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble various parts of custom tools, fitting various parts into tools Review the bench line up (schedule) on a daily basis Ensure proper tooling / proper material / proper set up items are available Review tool models and tool BOMs, as required Perform all phases of assembly and disassembly of tools Perform all phases of installing and plumbing water lines, hydraulic lines and systems Install various electric or hydraulic systems Demonstrate good bench-oriented shop practices: safety oriented, organization, cleanliness Operate miscellaneous equipment, as required: surface grinders/bench grinders/wire wheels to polish various tool parts Operate (safely) all material handling devices. Inform management of anticipated conflicts for future operations.

Minimum Requirements:

2+ year hands-on bench experience in a toolroom / mold shop / die shop environment Completion of a machining / tool & die / manufacturing tech program with shop/lab time preferred Demonstrated ability to do bench work: deburr, stone, file, hand-fit, polish; maintain clean edges/surfaces without altering critical geometry Strong understanding of mold/die components and function is required Ability to read and follow tool prints and an understanding of GD&T Able to use common precision measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, dial indicator, gauge pins Comfortable with standard hand and shop tools and safe shop practices Ability to lift/move tooling components and work on your feet Experience working with water and hydraulic lines and installing various electric or hydraulic systems Experience with spotting/bluing and fitting shutoffs/parting surfaces preferred Basic ability to run manual mill/lathe/surface grinder for light rework Experience supporting mold tryouts / press troubleshooting Must be conscientious and persistent about meeting or beating department throughput and delivery goals.
