Job Description Join Our Team as a Tooling Technician Are you a hands-on problem solver with strong mechanical skills and a passion for keeping production running smoothly? We're looking for a Tooling Technician to support our injection molding operations on the weekend shift. In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining tooling, supporting production changeovers, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring equipment is production-ready. Your work will directly impact uptime, efficiency, safety, and product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.     What You'll Do As a Tooling Technician, you will: Respond quickly to tooling and production issues to minimize downtime
    Assist with die setups, changeovers, and production readiness activities
    Clean, inspect, and prepare tooling during scheduled and unscheduled production stoppages
    Disassemble, troubleshoot, service, and reassemble dies, including minor repairs
    Identify tooling requiring maintenance and properly tag, document, and communicate repair needs
    Collaborate with operators, supervisors, leads, and engineering teams to resolve production challenges
    Support tooling maintenance and cleaning procedures on the production floor
    Inspect finished parts to verify quality standards and specifications are met
    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 6S principles
    Track tooling movements, maintenance, and status using the Gage Track system

    Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
    Ability to follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Excellent attention to detail and organization
    Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
    Preferred Qualifications
    Previous manufacturing experience
    Experience supporting injection molding operations
    Familiarity with injection press equipment
    Wax injection experience is a plus
    Physical Requirements
    Ability to lift, move, and handle tooling and related materials safely
    Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
    Capable of working in a physically active manufacturing environment
    Ability to perform repetitive movements and maintain focus throughout the shift
