In this role, you will be at the forefront of precision tooling and mask fabrication, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production processes. Your expertise will drive the creation and setup of intricate electroformed masks and tools, supporting our customer base in automotive, decorative, medical, food & beverage, aerospace, and agriculture sectors. Experience is preferred, but not required. If your willing to learn, we are willing to tech! Responsibilities Setup, modify, and repair of electroform and fabricated masks for limited and directional applied paints and adhesives. Use of intricate tooling including files, jeweler saws/torches, pencil grinders. Setup and operate hand tools, pneumatic grinders/dremel, band saws, and other machining equipment to produce complex metal components with tight tolerances. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics to apply to workpiece. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments to verify part quality during and after machining processes. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and adjustments on electroform machinery including plating tank maintenance, cleaning, general up keep of shop. Assemble machined components into finished tools or masks with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Skills Mig/Tig welding and soldering Sheet metal fabrication Hydraulic/manual brake and shear Fabrication lay out for drilling and tapping holes using hand drill and drill press. Electroplating experience is a plus, but not required. General knowledge of metal machining techniques including grinding, welding, and manual machining methods. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges for quality assurance. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in toolroom environments focused on manufacturing tooling and mask fabrication.
