We have four locations to serve our customers and a great selection of tarpaulin and cargo control products. We are looking for Tarp Makers to join our team in Perrysburg. Our Tarp Makers are responsible for taking the raw vinyl tarp material and turning it into panels for our tarping systems. On-the-job training will be provided, so there is no previous sewing experience required! We have 1st shift and 3rd shift positions available, working Monday through Friday and some Saturdays as required. These are full-time positions, so don't hesitate, apply today! Responsibilities Measures, cuts, sews, grommets and stencils materials as requested Notifies supervisor when item is complete and ready for inspection Meets or exceeds customer requirements for production and quality Packages/labels items according to guidelines set forth Operates equipment including but not limited to: Sewing Machine, Heat Sealer, Fork Lift, RF Welder, Grommet Machine, Heat Gun, Pallet Jack Repairs customer equipment as required using equipment previously listed Reads & interprets team leader instructions and written orders Maintains a clean and safe work environment Requirements Regard for quality, accuracy, and safety Ability to read a tape measure as well as add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions Comply with handbook, policies and all safety rules Ability to work in a team Purchase and maintain necessary tools Read and write English Minimal overnight and offsite travel may be required Good hand-eye coordination Physical Requirements Ability to individually lift, pull and drag material weighing up 100 lbs Stand, sit or kneel up to and including an 8 hour shift Work on the floor for extended periods of time with continuous getting-up and kneeling down actions Performs other duties and assignments as required We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a casual work environment.
