Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring a CNC Router Operator for the Production Department of a local manufacturing company. This position involves preparing, machining, and inspecting components for hospital patient service systems using a CNC router. The ideal candidate will have CNC machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and independently in a production environment.Job Responsibilities
- Verify the correct material for each job program
- Operate the CNC router according to specified job programs
- Confirm material sizes and finished products meet job specifications
- Clean, sand, and deburr cut parts to prepare them for assembly
- Confirm quantities of components needed for assembly
- Edge-band or paint component pieces according to product specifications
- Sort and stack cut components for assembly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Empty sawdust collector barrels and outside trash hopper as needed
- Maintain organized areas for material drop-off and collection
- Maintain inventory levels of edge-banding glue, PVC, and CNC router tooling
- Assist with receiving raw materials and shipping finished products
- Perform tooling maintenance on the CNC router
- Assist with production duties as needed
- Follow all company procedures and work instructions
- Report quality problems to the supervisor or Quality personnel
- Perform other duties as assignedRequirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience
- Good reading and writing skills
- Strong mathematical and computational skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctualityPhysical Requirements
- Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned shop/warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending and twisting
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
- Ability to work safely around machinery and production equipmentAdditional Information
