What You Will Be DoingPerform preventive maintenance, repairs, rebuilds, and troubleshooting on HPDC dies, trim dies, and tooling.
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble tooling components to production standards.
Repair worn or damaged die components through welding, grinding, fitting, polishing, and machining techniques.
Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments and interpret blueprints and tooling drawings.
Support die modifications, production startups, continuous improvement initiatives, and emergency tooling repairs.
Aluminum die casting experience or die repair experience is a huge plus!
What You Need For This JobExperience repairing and maintaining tooling, dies, molds, or related equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tooling specifications.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience using hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and tool room machinery.
High School Diploma or GED required.
