Job Description

Job Overview The Plastek Group is seeking a Mold Maintenance / Changeover employee for our Spectrum Molding Division Tool Room located in Erie, PA. The Plastek Group is a family owned and operated multi-national custom plastics injection molding company. Making products for companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, Church & Dwight and many others. Contact us today and find out why more than 1,000 people in Erie work at The Plastek Group. This is a 2nd shift position: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am (midnight) Responsibilities Clean molds. Repair molds. Change components in molds for production. Troubleshoot problems in areas of cleaning, repairing, and mold changing. Variable work schedule and overtime may be required. Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Applicants must possess the ability to effectively communicate information to/from the employer/clients by written, verbal or other designated means as required by the employer. Basic math skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Tool room environment work experience preferred. Basic Machine Shop Course. (Skill Center) Advanced Machine Shop Course. (Skill Center) Proficient blueprint reading. #
