(412) 380-0600 Our client in Irwin, PA is seeking a machine shop tech to:- Manufacture fixtures and parts for use in machines according to the production schedule
- Follow technical drawings and diagrams
- Repair and refurbish damaged or worn fixtures to minimize downtime and improve departmental efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with the Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to design and develop optimal tooling solutions for customer parts Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably working with conventional machine shop equipment such as Bridgeport mills, drill presses, lathes, MIG/TIG welders, and cutting torches
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (preferred)
- Willingness to be cross-trained in additional areas
- Ability to understand and follow ISO procedures and quality standards
