3009162519-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Eaton Aerospace is seeking a Tool & Die Machinist to support precision manufacturing for advanced hydraulic, fuel, and motion control systems in our Cleveland, OH facility. In this role, you will build, modify, and maintain complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to tight aerospace tolerances using CNC and manual equipment. You will interpret blueprints and GD&T, perform detailed inspections, and troubleshoot tooling issues that impact quality and throughput. Working in a performance-driven, safety-focused, and highly collaborative culture, you'll partner with engineering and production to drive continuous improvement and support reliable, efficient aircraft systems. Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to aerospace specifications. Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce tight-tolerance components. Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings to plan machining operations. Inspect parts and tools using precision measuring instruments and adjust processes as needed. Troubleshoot tooling issues impacting production quality or uptime and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on tooling design improvements. Perform preventive maintenance on tools, dies, and related equipment to maximize reliability. Document work performed and maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standards.
